About the sauce
How hot is Mr. Moustache Pomegranate Hot Sauce?
Mild to medium. It's built as a flavour sauce rather than a heat challenge, so you can use it generously. People who don't usually enjoy spicy food tend to get on with it.
What does it taste like?
Bright pomegranate tang first, then garlic, cumin and smoked paprika, then a slow gentle heat that builds and settles. Tangy rather than sweet.
What's in it?
Seven ingredients: pomegranate vinegar, red jalapeño peppers, red Thai bird chilies, fresh garlic, sea salt, cumin and smoked paprika. That's the complete list.
How many calories are in it?
Zero. Our nutrition panel reads 0 calories per serving — there's no oil, no sugar and no starch in the recipe, which is where calories in a condiment usually come from.
Does it contain sugar?
No added sugar. The sweetness you taste comes from the pomegranate vinegar itself.
Does it contain seed oils or preservatives?
Neither. There's no oil in the recipe at all, and no chemical preservatives — the vinegar and salt do that work.
Is it vegan and gluten-free?
Yes to both. Also dairy-free and nut-free.
How big is the bottle?
5 fl oz.
What do I put it on?
Eggs, rice, grilled chicken, hummus, pizza, roasted vegetables, tacos, ramen, sandwiches, avocado toast, and whatever leftovers you weren't excited about. Eggs is the most common answer we get.
How should I store it?
Out of direct sunlight, in a cool dark place. Refrigerate after opening. Shake before use — with no stabilisers in the bottle, a little separation is normal and expected.

I have an American Express or Discover card. Can I still order?
Yes — choose PayPal at checkout. Our card processor can't accept Amex or Discover directly at the moment, but PayPal accepts both as funding sources, so your card will work that way. We'd rather tell you here than have you find out at the last step.
Do you ship internationally?

Who makes it?
Mr. Moustache Foods is a family brand run by two brothers, Ghazi and Hamza. The sauce is produced in an FDA and SQF certified facility in Rochester, New York.
Where does the name come from?
Old family photographs of our forefathers, all of them wearing serious moustaches, and all of them the sort of men who made sure everyone at the table was taken care of.
